Chievo shows up on the pitch, Empoli stopped by the ASL no and the Serie B championship match was not played.
After 45 minutes the referees left the 'Carlo Castellani' with the referee Orsato in the lead and also the Venetian team left the stadium immediately after.
Previously, Chievo had played a short trip on the ground of the Empoli stadium.
As scheduled, the Tuscan club was unable to present itself on the pitch: the local health authority has ordered, due to Covid, the precautionary quarantine for the whole team up to and including next 7 April.
At this point the ball passes into the hands of the sports judge who should not validate the 0-3 at the table for the Venetians, as already happened in the last similar case in Serie A or Lazio-Turin.
In that case the match was placed by the sub-judice sports judge: no game lost at the table but a rescheduling of the date of the match not played today.
Empoli has yet to know the date of the recovery of the match against Cremonese (scheduled for Friday 2 April) postponed to a date to be decided after the request of the Tuscan club.
