NEW DELHI, 05 APR - India has registered over 100 thousand cases of coronavirus for the first time in the space of 24 hours since the beginning of the pandemic: the new data brings the total toll of infections to over 12.5 million, including over 165 thousand dead. (HANDLE)

(ANSA-AFP) - NEW DELHI, APRIL 05 - India has registered over 100 thousand cases of coronavirus for the first time in 24 hours since the beginning of the pandemic: the new data brings the total toll of infections to over 12.5 million , including over 165,000 deaths.

Meanwhile, in the State of Maharashtra - the most affected in the country with almost 60 thousand new infections in the last 24 hours - a new squeeze begins today which includes an hour advance of the curfew (from 20:00 to 19:00), unlockdown during the weekends and the closure of private offices as well.
