Police forces in Lower Saxony protected the home of Prime Minister Stephan Weil (SPD) from demonstrators of the so-called "lateral thinkers" scene on Sunday evening.
According to NDR, a large contingent of police was on duty to seal off the access roads to the prime minister's residential area.
The announced demonstration to protest against Corona measures did not take place.
"There was no meeting," said the police on Easter Monday.
In the course of the evening, "a small double-digit number of people" appeared at the checkpoints who allegedly wanted to take part in the unauthorized meeting.
You were sent away.
The assembly authority had forbidden the march in front of the house.
The organizers are only concerned with creating a threatening backdrop, intimidating the head of government in private and thus influencing the state government's corona policy, the police said.
A group of around 30 protested against corona measures on a Sunday in front of the private property of the Saxon Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer at the beginning of January.
According to the police, the CDU politician spoke to the protesters at the garden fence.
The debate ended after about 15 minutes.
