USA: Yellen, we need a global minimum corporate tax

(ANSA) - NEW YORK, APRIL 05 - A minimum worldwide tax on companies to prevent them from relocating for tax reasons.

It is the proposal of the US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen.

   "We are working with the G20 countries on an agreement on a global minimum tax that can stop the race to the bottom," says Yellen according to a sneak peek at the Chicago Council on GlobalAffairs later today.

According to Yellen, the creation of a minimum global tax will help bring stability and encourage competition.
