Horrified by the situation, he wanted to challenge us by sending us the link to the video of the ceremony, broadcast on Saturday and still visible online this Monday.
“I hallucinated a little while attending this mass.
There were very few people wearing the mask, even the priests did not.
At no time were the barrier gestures respected, ”says Etienne.
On the video, we also witness a series of baptisms where people plunge their heads into the water of the same baptistery, one after the other.

However, the instructions are clear from the side of the diocese of Paris: wearing a mask for over 11s is compulsory in churches, as well as distancing.
Contacted by the Parisian, the Catholic institution said it was stunned after viewing the video.
“Obviously, during this Mass, no health instructions were respected,” says the diocese.
We totally dissociate ourselves from this type of behavior, which does not comply with the rules given by the government.
We are going to notify the people responsible for this Mass and we are going to take action internally ”.
