An Aldi Süd customer was irritated by the lettering on her receipt.
The woman has difficulty explaining to her children.
But the discounter intervenes.
Moers - A woman in North Rhine-Westphalia was amazed: After shopping and paying at an Aldi Süd branch in Moers, she took an irritated look at the receipt.
She posted a photo of the receipt on the supermarket's Facebook page.
There she informed Aldi that her children were a little shocked.
"How do I explain that now," the woman asked the company.
How do I explain that now?
On the back of the receipt she found an advertisement for “Gourmet Finest Cuisine”.
With the signature “Christmas for connoisseurs”.
And that on March 11th.
At this time of year, Easter is actually more on the agenda.
Therefore the mother wrote to her children "thought the Easter bunny was there".
With the Christmas advertising, she therefore falls into need of explanation.
Aldi clears up confusion about receipts - and gives the mother a tip for her children
Aldi Süd replied to her inquiry that there were probably still a few roles left over from the Christmas season.
Obviously, the company decided against disposal and prefers to use up the older roles.
As a possible answer to the confusion of the offspring, Aldi wrote: "You can say that the Easter Bunny got support from Santa Claus because there was so much to do."
So next time you shop, don't be surprised if there are advertisements for Christmas, New Year's Eve, Easter or other annual events on the back of the receipt.
As long as the amount to be paid is correct in the end.
Whether at Aldi Nord or Aldi Süd.
Aldi Süd was previously in the headlines because of its switch to shopping trolleys.
