There are 13,708 coronavirus test positives in Italy in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health.

Yesterday there were 7,767.

Buffers have risen significantly after the sharp drop of the weekend at 339,939.

On the other hand, 627 victims in one day (yesterday 421).

339,939 tests, positivity rate drops to 4%

 - 339,939 molecular and antigenic swabs for the coronavirus carried out in the last 24 hours in Italy, according to data from the Ministry of Health.

Yesterday the tests were 112,962, about a third of those of today.

The positivity rate is 4%, yesterday it was 6.9%, so down 2.9% in 24 hours.

-60 intensive therapies, -21 hospitalizations

- 3,683 patients are hospitalized in intensive care for Covid in Italy, down by 60 units compared to yesterday in the daily balance between entries and exits, while daily entries in resuscitation, according to data from the ministry della Salute, were 276 (yesterday 221).

In the ordinary wards, on the other hand, 29,316 people are hospitalized, down by 21 units compared to yesterday.

WHO, + 5% cases worldwide in 7 days, + 11% deaths

 - Globally, new cases of Covid-19 have increased for the sixth consecutive week, with over 4 million new cases reported in the past week, 5% more.

This is what emerges from the WHO weekly update, published on the World Health Organization website.

The number of new deaths also increased by 11% from last week, with over 71,000 new deaths reported.

The largest increases in case incidence were seen in Southeast Asia (particularly India) and the western Pacific regions.

Deaths have risen everywhere, with the exception of Africa, peaking 46% in the Southeast Asian region.

In GB 45 deaths in the last 24 hours, data recovery weighs

 - The deaths from Covid recorded in the last 24 hours in the United Kingdom rise to 45, against just over 20 in the last few days, according to official daily government data: data on which it seems however, the statistical recovery linked to a partially delayed collection of the numbers already announced by the Ministry of Health in the days around Easter must weigh.

The rebound of new infections recorded up to about 21,000 (out of almost 700,000 tests) should be attributable to the same reason, while the total number of hospitalized patients and those forced to assisted ventilation in the intensive care units of the country continues to decline.

Furthermore, the pace of daily vaccinations is slowing down, in the wake of the announced "temporary" contraction in supply in April caused by a delay in the supplies promised by a partner plant of AstraZeneca based in India: in the last 24 hours reported are just under 300,000 were administered on the island, with a sum that now reaches 37.4 million doses: with over 31.7 million first injections to as many people and almost 5.7 million recalls.
