According to the investigations of the postal police and the Rome mobile squad, the man - an IT expert, an official of a large company - had contacted a site on the dark web, asking subjects called 'Assassins' to cause very serious injuries to his ex-girlfriend and offered to pay a large sum in bitcoin, part of which had already been paid to an intermediary.

This is what the 40-year-old had agreed today at the request of the Rome Public Prosecutor's Office for stalking and attempted personal injury, with a "hitman" contacted on DarkWeb.

According to what emerges from the custody order, the man should have paid the payment through Bitcoin.
