Fatal accident in Swabia: A 27-year-old driver ran into oncoming traffic with his vehicle on a country road on Tuesday evening and collided head-on with another car.
He and his passenger were seriously injured, and the woman in the other vehicle died.
According to the police, the 27-year-old and his co-driver were on the ST2214 between Warching and Monheim (Donau-Ries district) when the vehicle skidded for an unexplained cause.
The car ran into the opposite lane, where it collided head-on with the car of a 54-year-old woman.
The woman's car remained lying on the roof in a ditch.
The 54-year-old could only be rescued dead by the rescue workers.
The 27-year-old man and his 28-year-old passenger were seriously injured.
The fire brigade had to use rescue shears to free them.
