(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 07 - World football legend Pelés will be an exclusive guest at "Che Tempo Che Fa" by Fabio Fazio, on Sunday 11 April from 8 pm on Rai3.
Edson Arantes doNascimento, known as "O Rei", is considered the greatest footballer of all time and holds the "Guinness World Record" for the most goals scored in a career in football history, including friendlies.
The only player to have won 3 World Cups (1958, 1962 and 1970, with the Brazilian national team), named "Athlete of the Century" in 1999 by the International Olympic Committee, "Footballer of the Century" in 2000 by Fifa (together with Diego Armando Maradona), in 2014 won the Fifa Honorary Ballon d'Or. Since 1961 it has been the "National Heritage" of Brazil, since 2011 "Humanity Historic-Sports Heritage for Brazil" and has been included by Time in the "TIME 100 Heroes & Icons" of the twentieth century.
After his retirement in 1977, the UN awarded him the title of "Citizen of the world" and he became Unesco and Unicef ambassador. Since 2018, his Pelé Foundation has been helping children around the world, with the aim of spreading education and fighting poverty. (HANDLE).
