Previously updated every month,
Sea of Thieves adopted a new system in early 2021.
The developers have indeed decided to offer an update every 3 months or so, according to a seasonal logic.
The first season began on January 28, bringing many new features such as the Plunder Pass.
This paid Battle Pass allows players to earn more premium rewards as they progress.
They can thus recover equipment, weapons, objects or new attitudes.
The content for Season 2, which will arrive on April 15, has yet to be revealed, but a first launch trailer is already circulating on social media.
Become pirates by joining the world of Sea of Thieves
Sea of Thieves allows players to play as pirates and navigate the waves alone or with a crew.
In solo, you will have to follow quests to collect gold and forge a true reputation as a legend within the community.
In multiplayer, in "Arena" mode, your objective will be to coordinate yourselves in order to make your ship sail to collect treasures.
In the spirit of a Battle Royale, clashes between pirates are frequent, especially since the universe is presented as a shared world.
For this second season, players hope to see the arrival of new weapons, but above all a new island that would enrich the map, as well as an original scripted quest.
