The national protocol for the implementation of business plans aimed at activating
extraordinary anti-Covid vaccination points in the workplace has been
signed at the table between the government and the social partners
.
And the Protocol for updating the measures to combat and contain the spread of Covid in the workplace, which updates the previous agreements on health and safety taking into account those of March 14 and April 24, 2020. Vaccinations can thus begin in the workplace, with the support of company doctors and the Inail network, aimed at workers.
Membership is voluntary.
As regards the national protocol for the implementation of business plans aimed at activating extraordinary anti-Covid vaccination points in the workplace, the initiative is aimed at workers, regardless of the type of contract with which they work in the company, and to employers.
Employers, individually or in aggregate form and regardless of the number of workers and workers employed, according to the text, with the support or coordination of the relevant trade associations, can express their willingness to implement business plans for the preparation of points overtime vaccination against Covid in workplaces intended for administration in favor of workers who have voluntarily requested it.
Employers who are not required to appoint the competent doctor or who cannot make use of private health facilities can make use of the health facilities of Inail.
The costs for the creation and management of business plans, including administration costs, are borne by the employer, while the supply of vaccines, administration devices (syringes, needles) and the provision of instruments provided training and tools for recording vaccinations performed is the responsibility of the regional health services.
If the vaccination is performed during working hours, the time required is equated with working hours.
The text refers to the recent Covid decree which expressly excludes the criminal liability of health professionals for adverse events in the hypothesis of compliant use of the vaccine.
As regards, however, the update of the Security Protocol, confirming the measures to counter the spread of the virus, from masks to spacing up to periodic sanitization, the text
recommends "maximum use, where possible, of the agile working mode or remotely "by private employers.
It also recommends, for productive activities, that movements within the sites be limited as much as possible and access to common areas restricted.
Among the added points, the one on readmission to work after infection which "will take place according to the procedures established by current legislation (circular of the Ministry of Health of 12 October 2020 and any subsequent instructions). Positive workers after the twenty-first day will be readmitted to the work only after the negativization of the molecular or antigenic swab carried out in a structure accredited or authorized by the health service ".
