(ANSA) - BEIJING, APRIL 07 - Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday urged Germany and the EU to make joint efforts to protect and promote "healthy and stable development" of their cooperation to give more certainty and solidity to an unstable world. In a phone call with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Xi said that China's development was an opportunity for the EU, urged "to express a correct judgment independently and achieve true strategic autonomy". The EU and China signed an investment agreement at the end of 2020, while the US administration of Joe Bidensta is working on strengthening the Atlantic alliance. (HANDLE).
