Until recently, one of the pools at the Marina Bay Sands resort in Singapore held a singular record: located on the 57th floor of the tower, 250 meters high, it

was the tallest pool in the world

But this brand

has just been dethroned

, with a figure certified by the Guinness Book of Records itself.

Since last March 24, the highest swimming pool in the world is the one at the

Address Beach Resort in

Dubai,

United Arab Emirates

, and it is almost 294 meters high.

To be exact,

293.90 meters

.

More figures: the infinity pool at the Address Beach Resort -the hotel opened last December- measures

94.84 meters long by 16.5 wide

and has a maximum depth of 1.2 meters, which offers about 500 m3 of water.

It is located at the top of an

impressive hotel complex

made up of two 77-story twin towers that offer 217 rooms and suites, 443 apartments with tourist services and another 478 residential ones.

world records that this Arab emirate has been accumulating
