(ANSA) - BEIJING, APRIL 08 - China has accused Great Britain of protecting "wanted criminals" since Hong Kong passed the disputed national security law that led several activists to seek asylum in London. "The UK is clearly a platform for Hong Kong's pro-independence agitators and provides so-called refuge for wanted acriminals," Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said during a press briefing.
Hong Kong activist Nathan Law announced yesterday that he had applied for and been granted asylum in Britain. (HANDLE).
