After Amazon, Google, Samsung and Apple, Spotify is also about to launch its personal voice assistant.

It will allow you to recall songs, playlists and podcasts with just the use of your voice.

To reveal it are some images published by the GSMArena site, which signals the availability of "Hey Spotify" on a Samsung device, specifically a Galaxy S21.

According to the information described online, users could ask the assistant to play music without having to touch the phone screen, just as happens with devices and speakers with Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri on board.

An eye for privacy, given the possibility of activating voice control only with the application open and the smartphone with the screen unlocked.

Both Google and Alexa can instead listen to people's requests at any time and condition.

Not all the details and possible launch versions of the Spotify assistant are known, which could land on both Android and iOS or, at least initially, only on one of the two platforms.

Nor is the presence of a variation for car interfaces excluded, where at the moment the use of Spotify, both on Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, takes place exclusively via touch on the screen, to access menus and screens.

The arrival of a voice at the guide would instead give way to manage the app with only one voice.
