Pizza Tray Folding Trick (@ ccsmilezz / TikTok / @Nateandgran)

Are you one of those people who devours a tray of pizza alone, or one of those who throws the leftovers in the trash because pizza is not kept well in the fridge or takes up a lot of space?

If you are of the second type, you must, simply must, see this item.

Nate Hunter uploaded to Tiktok a video that blew people's brains in which he reveals that the pizza cardboard tray has a built-in trick for storing the leftovers in the fridge - without you having to put the whole huge tray in it.

That's how it works

In a video that has already garnered close to 8 million views, he shows how the tray can be reduced in half by cutting its lid before tearing small pieces on the sides of the tray - which are then used for its hermetic closure.

This trick creates a mini box that is a perfect solution for storing pizza leftovers in the fridge.

We have not tested whether all trays have this patent, but Knight claims that every pizza carton has this option.

In the comments to the video, some have claimed that it depends on where you ordered the pizza, but we suggest you try it for yourself and look for the small part that he claims should be easily torn off.

Anyway, most of the surfers were stunned by the video and admitted that they were unaware of the existence of this trick.

One of them even wrote that "he has been working at Pizza Hut for 10 years and did not know it."

Others have admitted that it will not help because in any case they never leave a remnant of a distributor.

How to heat pizza leftovers?

Now you'll probably want to know what's the best way to heat up pizza leftovers, no?

Well according to Domino's Australia the answer is very simple - if you put a slice of pizza in the microwave for 30 seconds with a glass of water, it will come out hot and crispy.

Domino's says that the method does not guarantee that the pizza will be as perfect as when it arrived, but the result will be much better than if you heat it like this just in the microwave without a glass of water.

If you feel like trying more methods, the chain experts suggest taking two cold triangles, putting them on top of each other, with the toppings in the middle, and making a pizza sandwich.

Use a pressure toaster, or a Belgian waffle maker to heat up the dish, and you are ready for the meal.

Another way is to use a pan.

For example, chef Assaf Granit offers his pizza packaging, which he prepared for Domino's, and so does "Roberta Pizza" from Brooklyn, New York, which has published a useful guide for its customers that will help breathe new life into their cold pizza in 3 minutes.

  • 1. Place a pan on a medium-low flame and place your cold pizza triangle in it.

  • Let the pizza warm for 2 minutes - or until the base is crispy.

  • 3. Lower the heat and carefully add 2 drops of water to the hot pan (without touching the pizza).

  • 4. Cover the pizza with a lid for a minute so that the steam generated as a result of the drops melts the cheese.

  • 5. Turn off the heat and your pizza is ready to eat - when all its parts are evenly hot.
