Former Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva apologized to "Comrade Napolitano" and the Italian people for not extraditing the former terrorist of the Armed Proletarians for Communism Cesare Battisti, handed over to Italy by Jair Bolsonaro.
"I apologize to the Italian people, I thought he was not guilty but after his confession I can only apologize. I was wrong", added Lula, interviewed live on Tg2 Post.
"I have many friends in Italian politics, in the unions, in the church. I am a friend of President Enrico Letta, I know Prodi", said Lula.
