DMX didn't make it. The rapper died at the age of 50 after being hospitalized on April 2 in New York from a heart attack caused by an overdose.
DMX, whose real name was Earl Simmons, had been in a vegetative state since his admission. He had been suffering from drug addiction for years and was forced to cancel his concerts several times and go to detox centers.
