When she saw the Edeka special, a customer was pissed off.
The "super hit" is "disrespectful" and "unbelievable".
Moers - When she saw the weekly offers from an Edeka branch, a customer broke the collar.
“I get really sick when I read something like that!” She wrote on the Facebook page about the supermarket's advertising at the end of March.
A branch in North Rhine-Westphalia offered meat among other things as a “super hit”: a kilo of fresh class A chicken breast fillet for 5.99 euros.
This made the customer sit up and take notice.
It was "unbelievable to offer something like this," she judged.
I get really sick when I read something like that!
Edeka customer via a weekly offer
In addition, it is "unbelievable" that customers buy something like this.
A kilo of organic strawberries is more expensive than the meat of a living being, the customer complained.
Not to mention the quality: “How well can a chicken be kept if, after deducting wage, transport and profit, it doesn't even cost six euros a kilo,” she asked indignantly.
One is "light years away" from having a good posture.
Customer demands: People should be aware of their power when consuming
She appealed not only to the Edeka branch, but also to the customers: They should become aware of the power through their consumer behavior and rethink it.
In addition, every consumer should make it clearer exactly what kind of food he is consuming.
In the end, the Edeka customer let her dismay run wild again: "It makes you angry, sad and painful," she wrote.
The behavior of the Edeka branch is simply "disrespectful".
So far, there has been no response from the supermarket or the Edeka umbrella company to the customer's outcry.
Only recently had several Edeka branches started a recall campaign - because of possible metal foreign bodies in sausages.
