Over the weekend in Burma, the death toll among demonstrators killed more than 700 victims during the repression of dissent by the military junta.
Meanwhile this morning, a security guard was injured when a bomb went off in front of a military-owned bank in Rangoon.
The bank is one of dozens of companies controlled by the military.
