Covid: Germany, over 3 million infections since the beginning of the pandemic

(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 12 - The number of cases of contagion from Covid-19 recorded in Germany since the beginning of the pandemic has exceeded 3 million, according to data from the German Institute Robert Koch (Rki) and the American University Johns Hopkins (Jhu ).


    In the last 24 hours, infections have been 13,245, according to Rki, with the national incidence rate that in the last 7 days has stood at 136.4 per 100,000 people.


    The European country of over 83 million inhabitants has so far reported almost 78,500 deaths from coronavirus, while 2.68 million people have recovered from the infection in Germany according to Jhu. (HANDLE).
