Immediately create an ad hoc fund for the works that, although valid, will not be able to enter the Recovery Plan: it is, according to what is learned, one of the hypotheses on which the government is working in these hours, in view of the launch of the Def e of the deviation request.
The fund - of which the Minister of Economy Daniele Franco had spoken in Parliament - would in fact be financed in the first instance with a share of the extra-trade.
"An important part of the 209 billion of the Recovery Plan will go to the SOUTH. An opportunity to finance infrastructure, digitalization and health. Investments to create jobs and bridge the social and territorial gaps in the South. With Mara Carfagna we are going in the right direction".
This was stated by Antonio Tajani on the sidelines of a meeting with the Minister for the South Mara Carfagna.
"The Bridge over the Strait, according to the government's version, could not be included in the Recovery plan because any work must be completed by 2026. We have not given up on this version and this position: I had an interview until the other day with Minister Giovannini to whom I have placed a stable connection between the two shores as a priority for Sicily. The same position expressed by the Calabria Region ".
This was stated by the president of the Sicilian Region, Nello Musumeci, to ANSA, hoping that "the government can be persuaded to take a courageous position, even regardless of the Recovery plan".
"Because if the government expressed its willingness to reopen the dossier - he adds - we would have already won the game. What I fear is the 'cassariamento', as they say in Sicily, the desired waste of time, designed not to decide, not to to reach the epilogue and remain in ambiguity and uncertainty, to leave everyone happy and everyone unhappy ".
Among those "rowing against Sicily", President Musumeci inscribes "certainly the lobby of an alleged left fundamentalist environmentalism that continues to demand that we must return to the pile dwellings and then the M5s and the Democratic Party, who have always been 'confessed' enemies of the Bridge".
"Even at the Ars, in the last legislature - he recalls - the parliamentary groups of the two political forces voted an agenda to that effect, reiterating their opposition to the Bridge. Without this work it is as if Italy ended up in Calabria and no other fast connection can be imagined without it. It is an infrastructure that has been talked about for over 50 years - musumeci explains - and which has transversally crossed all governments and all political forces with one constant: the opposition of the left ".
The German Constitutional Court in Karlsruhe met on the appeal filed against the Recovery Fund.

According to the newspaper, a decision by the constitutional judges will arrive by April.
Furthermore, two opinions presented by the German government are in favor of the Recovery, arguing that the establishment of the fund is perfectly legal and therefore the appeal is unfounded.
