"Seeing the seriousness of the hunger strike, every day the administration threatens to start force-feeding. They still do not have it examined by a doctor", reads the Twitter taken by Meduza. After arriving in the penal colony, according to the tweet quoted by Meduza, Navalny lost 15 kilos and now weighs 77 kilograms. On April 6, the dissident's lawyer, OlgaMikhailova, reported that Navalny had lost 13 kilos behind bars, eight of which even before starting the fast. Navalny has announced a hunger strike to ask for adequate treatment for the back pain and numbness of the legs he has suffered for some time. (HANDLE).
