Far from the comic genre of this comical role, Moussa Théophile Sowié also took on the features, in 2000, of the Congolese politician Maurice Mpolo, in the feature film "Lumumba", retracing the life of the Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Congo, assassinated in 1961.

More recently in 2017, the actor had also appeared in “If you saw his heart”, with Gael Garcia Bernal on the bill, after having played in “Fastlife”, by Thomas Ngijol, and “Le crocodile du Botswanga”, by Lionel Steketee and Fabrice Eboué, released in 2014.

The actor, who often went to Aveyron, according to Center Presse, "was actively involved in the Valady-Korgnégane association and where he had many friends".

“Everyone is very sad today to learn of the disappearance of the popular, smiling and so generous Moussa.

According to his wishes, he will go and rest under the mango trees and baobabs of his native village of Bérégadougou ”, specifies the local newspaper.
