Hamburg - Edeka is one of the largest supermarket chains in Germany and has numerous branches throughout the country where people can buy food and other everyday utensils.

This also includes baked goods that can be placed either fresh at the bread counter or packaged on the bread roll shelf in the shopping cart or shopping cart.

Outraged, the disappointed customer addressed the following words to Edeka:

Rodent droppings (rat shit) on the bun!

Is that the new variety for you ??????

Disgusting!!!!!

Good that I saw it, I was just about to eat them with my kids.

Is the Edeka own-brand baked-on roll really contaminated with the remains of a rodent - or is it a mix-up?

The company would like to investigate this question.

Edeka addressed the consumer in a statement: “Hello Vedat, thank you very much for contacting us with this important information.

We will forward this to our customer service immediately.

Please send us your telephone number, email address and postal address via direct message so that they can contact you directly.

Please keep the packaging if possible. "

Shopping at Easter 2021: What customers can expect from Edeka and Co.

A recall does not seem to be an issue for the supposedly defective baked goods.

Edeka recently announced a private label frozen product that poses a potential risk from metallic foreign objects.

If you take your time, you can also bake bread and rolls yourself and it usually tastes more hearty than baked goods from the supermarket.
