Spanish entrepreneur Florentino Pérez has been re-elected president of Real Madrid for a sixth term.
The 74-year-old owner of one of the largest construction companies in the world (he is also interested in the purchase of the Italian motorway management company), therefore continues his story at the top of the 'Galacticos', as the Real team has been renamed right after Perez's ultra-million dollar purchases.
Perez, who in reality was also the only candidate for the presidency of Real, will remain in office until 2025. With him, of course, all the members of the council were elected, candidates on his list.
For Perez it is the fourth consecutive term in the highest office of the Madrid club. The main challenges he will face relate to the restructuring of the Santiago-Bernabeu, the management of the club's finances after the pandemic and the recruitment of Kylian Mbappé or Erling Haaland, or both champions, to start a new cycle.
