The President of the Senate Elisabetta Casellati, according to what is learned, has given a mandate to the offices to reassign the bill on homotransphobia to the Justice Commission.
The four bills will be joined to the Zan bill.
The bills that President Casellati reassigned to the Justice Commission were presented by: Alessandra Maiorino, M5s;
Elvira Evangelista, M5s; Julia Unterberger, Autonomie;
Monica Cirinnà, Pd.
Last week, the president of the justice commission, Andrea Ostellari, had asked the president of Palazzo Madama to reassign them to the commission in the referring seat in order to be able to join them with the Zan bill. It is an internal regulation of the Senate for which joint bills must be assigned in the same place.
Now in order for the parliamentary process of the Zan law, approved by the Chamber last November, to resume, a presidential office must be convened for scheduling.
