The Frecce Tricolori on the banks of the Santerno, sixty years after their foundation.

And the tenor Vittorio Grigolo to sing the national anthem first from the street.

From Friday 16 to Sunday 18, Formula One returns to Imola, to the Enzo and Dino Ferrari racetrack: after 14 years of hiatus, for the second time in six months, the top motorsport competition will rediscover one of its iconic circuits for the 'Pirelli Gran Premio of Made in Italy and Emilia-Romagna '.

The name of the race tells of the agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ice Agency and the Emilia-Romagna Region, which with a multilevel campaign aim to make the GP a promotional tool for Italian companies abroad.

The campaign involves three other world events along the Via Emilia: the Motor Valley Fest in Modena, the Superbike stage in Misano Adriatico and, again on the Misano circuit, the MotoGP weekend.

The 5 million investment includes a campaign that will take to the field for the first time this weekend, with various initiatives including a Made in Italy showcase site.

The Grand Prize and the related agreement were presented by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Manlio Di Stefano, by the President of the Region, Stefano Bonaccini, by the President of Ice, Carlo Ferro and by the Mayor of Imola, Marco Panieri.

The video link was also attended by Claudio Domenicali (president of the Motor Valley Association and to Ducati), Stefano Domenicali (to Liberty Media), Angelo Sticchi Damiani (president of the Automobile Club of Italy and vice president of Fia), Andrea Casaluci (general manager operations Pirelli) and Matteo Lunelli (president and CEO of Cantine Ferrari).

"It will be the first major event where we see the Ministry of Foreign Affairs making such a solid and important partnership with a Region and an internationally renowned event", comments Di Stefano.
