Ingredients for a medium baking dish
For the sprinkles:
100 g of flour
30 g of tender oat flakes
30 g of chopped almonds
90 g of brown sugar
80 g cold butter, cut into pieces
For the rhubarb layer:
400 g of cleaned rhubarb
30 grams of sugar
10 g cornstarch

Rhubarb crumble with almonds: How to prepare the crumble casserole
For the crumble,
process the flour, oat flakes, almonds, sugar and butter first with the dough hook of the hand mixer or in the food processor, then with your fingers to make a crumble dough.
Put the sprinkles in the refrigerator while you prepare the rhubarb.
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C top / bottom heat.
For the rhubarb
layer, clean and peel the rhubarb and cut it into 1-2 cm pieces.
Mix the rhubarb with the sugar and cornstarch.
Put everything in a greased baking dish.
Now spread the sprinkles over the rhubarb layer.
Bake the crumble in the oven for about 30-35 minutes until the crumble is golden brown.
It is best to serve the rhubarb crumble while it is still warm.
A scoop of vanilla ice cream, whipped cream or vanilla sauce tastes delicious with it.
