The apple did not fall far from the tree: a picture of Prince Philip, taken in 1957, looks like a photograph of 36-year-old Harry • Although many think Harry is more like his mother Diana, it seems that his grandfather's royal gardens have certainly moved him

The apple did not fall far from the tree: for anyone who has insisted over the years that Princess Diana, Prince Harry's late mother, had an extramarital affair, and that Harry is not Charles' biological son - here is proof that the royal family's genes have left a deep mark.

A 1957 archive photo, unveiled by royal photographer Chris Jackson on his Instagram account, reveals a striking resemblance between Prince Harry and his grandfather Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, who passed away last Friday at the age of 99. The

photo, which appeared on the cover of Paris Match magazine, shows Philippe At 36, dressed in the British cavalry uniform he served in, with the red beard, blue eyes and a mischievous look in his eyes - what looked exactly like a picture of 36-year-old Harry.

"I came across the cover of this vintage magazine I purchased several years ago," Jackson wrote, "and was amazed the second I saw it. It always reminds me of the unique and historical perspective that royal photography provides."

The photo posted on Jackson's Instagram page was apparently digitally painted because it was originally taken in black and white.
