Nine deaths, and as many families awaiting answers.
According to information from our colleagues in Europe 1, lawyer Étienne Boittin, based in Saint-Nazaire, was seized by nine bereaved families who would like to know whether or not the vaccine from the Swedish-British laboratory AstraZeneca caused the death of their loved ones, mostly in perfect health before receiving a dose of this vaccine against Covid-19.
“The complaints are based on manslaughter.

Seized after the death in March of a young man of 24, a few days after receiving the serum, Maître Étienne Boittin now represents the families of nine deceased people.
"None had any medical history in relation to the occurrence of a thrombosis which was fatal to them", he assures our colleagues.

Among the families he will defend, Étienne Boittin counts that of a 42-year-old man, who died in Pleumeur-Bodou (Côtes-d'Armor) on March 22, nine days after being vaccinated.
"He was in good health, he had a medical reason which was sufficient to vaccinate him but which was unrelated to the thrombosis which was fatal to him", indicated Me Boittin at the beginning of April.
But the cases dealt with are not limited to those, tragic, of families who have lost loved ones.
In total, “about fifteen files” piled up on Étienne Boittin's desk for these same suspicions, without necessarily causing the death of those vaccinated.
“These are essentially attacks of a vascular or neurological nature,” explains the lawyer.
Serious complications after Pfizer injections
After a suspension of a few days in March, the injection of the AstraZeneca vaccine is again allowed in France but only for people over 55 years old.
People under the age of 55 who have received a first injection of this vaccine should receive a dose of Moderna or Pfizer for the second injection, according to the recommendations established by the High Authority for Health.
