Guy Richard Hasson was born in 1982 in the northern locality of Kadarim, the eldest son of Liora and Yaakov, a brother of Roi, Yuval and Reut.
He was a member of a farming family and loved the land and the country, loved to walk, ride a bike, play and sing.
Guy always cared for and gave to others, and joined the "Dead Sea Scrolls" - a rescue unit in the Judean Desert that works to locate and rescue lost hikers.
He enlisted in November 2000, the 50th Battalion of the Nahal Brigade and served in the area of Nablus, Jenin and Hebron. After his release, he worked as a security guard at the border "Jordan River", and brother Rmcn went for a walk in Mongolia and China - with a guitar and a book of Israeli songs.
His girlfriend Lihi joined him, and they continued to India. During the trip, the two planned their marriage, and how they would live on the family farm in Naama. When they returned, they opened "Guy-Li", a cafe with an "open stage" evening.
With the outbreak of the Second Lebanon War, Guy enlisted in the reserve and went up with his comrades to fight.
He fell on the last day of the war in a battle in the village of Aita 'a-Shaab, an anti-tank missile fired at a position where he was staying. A
family date orchard is now named after him. Farewell to his life.
Caring for and being able to be a friend to life were an integral part of it.
As part of his commemoration, the orchard dates are sold as 'Guy' dates, and come with his story to homes around the country. "
Seek meaning, and friends
Suddenly a phone rings from one of the bags in the helicopter.
Time stopped.

Recipe with memory (Photo: Recipe with memory)
The "Recipe with Memory" project seeks to commemorate the fallen and allow participants to get to know their story through cooking their favorite recipes.
The project, founded about six years ago by Eden Kohli, invites surfers from Israel and the world to actively and excitingly connect to stories, photos and food.
As part of it, meetings are held in which a favorite dish of IDF space is cooked or a victim of hostilities who has not returned home to eat it, where they taste and share photos, stories, videos, and talk about the person behind the dish, and his family.
"This moment, where you taste a dish you cooked yourself, and a moment before you read about the space and the story behind that dish, is a very exciting and very significant moment," Kohli described. Through memories. "
Stories of the Fallen, and other recipes, can be found on the "Recipe with Memory" website.
