Leap of Lombardy-Umbria. Sicily and Calabria late (ANSA)

Province of Bolzano and Veneto in the lead, behind Sicily and Calabria.

This is the situation of vaccine administration in Italy based on the index calculated by YouTrend according to which in the last seven days Lombardy and Umbria have made a leap forward while other 5 regions are down.

    On the basis of the data updated to 12 April, the autonomous province of Bolzano is, with 85 points out of 100, the one furthest ahead in the regional index;

followed by Veneto at 83 (+7 compared to a week ago), the autonomous province of Trento at 75 (+4) and Emilia Romagna at 73 (+10), all above the national average which is at 63 and which is up 8 points compared to last week.

At the bottom of the ranking, under 50 points, there are Sicily at 46 (down by one point compared to last week) and Calabria at 45. Lazio also fell (-5 points, but still above the national average at 68), Tuscany (-2, with an average of 68), Basilicata (-8, to 58 points) and Valle d'Aosta (-7 to 55 points).

The autonomous province of Bolzano is still growing more than a week ago, with 17 points, and immediately after Lombardy and Umbria, both with a leap forward of 16 points.

    The YouTrend regional index summarizes weekly, with a value between 0 and 100, the status of the vaccination campaign through the weighted average of 5 parameters: the percentage of doses used out of the total of those received, the percentages of RSA hosts, over 80 and subjects between 70 and 79 vaccinated and the acceleration of vaccinations compared to the previous week.

The more for a given region or autonomous province the index approaches 100, the more it will have carried out the vaccination campaign effectively.
