Today, students of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad participated in the 2021 World Olympiad in Applied Physics, which is organized by Indonesia remotely.
The Excellence and Creativity Commission stated in a statement, which SANA received a copy of, that ten students from the Syrian National Scientific Olympiad in the field of physics are participating in this Olympiad, and they are Abdullah Al-Husni from Damascus, Abdul Aziz Jerbi from Aleppo, Ru'aa Al-Rifai from Damascus countryside, Hadi Salloum from Tartous and Ammar Yasser Rajab from Latakia, Muhammad Subhi Abu Radan, Ammar Ali from Lattakia, Alaa Hussein from the National Center for Excellence, Reem Bakro from Aleppo, and Ellen Barakat from Damascus.
The commission indicated that students participate from four examination centers spread over four governorates of Damascus, Lattakia, Aleppo and Tartous, and the exams that include high-level issues in physics will be held over the course of two rounds today and the second (final) will be held on the 23 and 24 of this April.
It is scheduled to announce the final results of the Olympiad on the twenty-seventh of this month.
