A journey to the most authentic Sicily to discover nature and culture, traditions reinterpreted in a modern key, whose protagonists are the Sicilians themselves. This is the meaning of the project launched by Birra Messina, 'La Sicilia si Sente', which comes to life on the brand's social and digital channels. Two years after the launch of Messina Cristalli di Sale Beer, the brand invites its consumers to immerse themselves in the most authentic Sicily through the voices of its protagonists. From 19 April, for nine weeks, nine stories will be told by those who were born on the island and chose to live there, transforming ancient crafts into activities that enhance the naturalistic and cultural beauties. Caltanissetta: every corner of Sicily is the protagonist of an episode. The project was conceived and curated with the collaboration of the creative agency Bitmama and the production house Zepstudio, entirely made up of Sicilian professionals. Among the nine stories that of Antonella and Giusy Donato di Messina (Ganzirri): in 2012 they inherited their grandfather's old fishing boat and transformed it to use it in fishing tourism. Today they bring tourists from all over the world to the sea of the strait to fish and make them experience the real Sicily. Giuseppe Distefano is a volcanic guide, a photographer and a video maker from Catania who tries to convey, to photographers from all over the world, the stories and secrets of the highest volcano in Europe, Etna. Every day gives them the opportunity to make wonderful reports.Davide and Irene, on the other hand, are two passionate history scholars who embarked on a journey of rediscovery of the ancient Via Francigene ten years ago. These paths are beaten by Sicilian and non-Sicilian tourists, who can live an experience in contact with nature and with the history of this land.
