Cologne - A Rewe customer posted several pictures of her damaged purchases on Facebook.

Every week she has to be annoyed about the purchase she has ordered from the Rewe delivery service.

The pictures show, among other things, a shopping bag in which a yogurt broke.

The contents of the yogurt were spread over other foods such as apples and a cucumber.

The customer is annoyed that “the purchase is stacked so stupidly that everything, really everything is screwed”.

She also tells of an incident in which the supplier fell on the floor and broke a jam jar on the way to the house.

Only when other residents of the house spoke to the user about the broken glass did she find out about it.

"The driver didn't inform us about it and we were allowed to clean it for hours," she complains in her Facebook * post.

Even the fruit and vegetables delivered do not seem to meet the expectations of the Rewe customer, they would be “really old”.

In her pictures you can see a broken cucumber and a "wrinkled" paprika.

Likelihood of confusion?

In addition to the broken food, the wrong food was often delivered.

Instead of the herb sauce she ordered, she would have received a meat sauce instead.

The oat milk ordered was turned into cocoa milk.

And a glass of "meat-potato-vegetable puree" was delivered instead of a glass of "fruit puree".

“Does anyone else think along with you?” Writes the Facebook user in capital letters under her complaints.

The service is anything but good, after all she has to "spend hours every week cleaning the products that are left over from the messed up shopping & cleaning the floor or the hall!"

Shaking the head at other users

Rewe responded immediately to the complaint.

In the comments, the supermarket chain apologized to the customer and promised to investigate the allegations immediately.

The other comments below the post were rather divided.

One user wrote “What problems ...” Other users, on the other hand, reported their positive experiences with the Rewe delivery service.

The demand for such delivery services has risen sharply, especially during the corona pandemic.
