Netflix had a big hit with season 1 of "Bridgerton" *.
The series started in December 2020 and was promptly extended for a second season just a month later.
For fans, before Season 2 has even been released, the next good news comes: Netflix has confirmed two more seasons.

In keeping with "Bridgerton" tradition,
Lady Whistledown announced
the extension of the series on social media.

Season 2 will focus on Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey), as described in the
novel of
the
same name by Julia Quinns

It stands to reason that seasons 3 and 4 will also be based on the narratives of the books.

While the two seasons extension was not expected, it comes as no surprise given the resounding success of the first season.

Since filming has already started, the new episodes could possibly be released at the end of 2021 - one year after season 1. However, delays due to the coronavirus pandemic can be expected at any time.
