'Louie Louie' Kingsmen Guitarist Mike Mitchell Dies Aged 77

He was the last founding member of the American group, formed in Ohio in 1959. Mike Mitchell died on his birthday, "peacefully" according to his stage mate Dick Peterson.


Mike Mitchell, founding member and guitarist of The Kingsmen, is no more.

said Peterson, a member of the Kingsmen since 1963.
