"The delivery to the Regions of over 1.5 million doses of Pfizer vaccine will begin today, expected to arrive in the morning at the airports of Ancona, Bergamo Orio al Serio, Brescia Montichiari, Bologna, Malpensa, Naples, Pisa, Rome Ciampino and Venice" .
This was announced by the Covid emergency commissioner.
"The doses will be delivered directly to the structures designated by the Regions, for subsequent distribution to the points of administration".
The 184,000 doses of Janssen vaccine (Johnson & Johnson) stored at the national vaccine hub of the Pratica di Mare Defense will be distributed starting today. The indication was ordered by the Extraordinary Commissioner Francesco Paolo Figliuolo, after consulting the Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, following the communication of the Italian Medicines Agency, which gave the green light to the use of the vaccine after the precautionary suspension.
