The organizers of the 93rd Academy Awards, which will be held on Sunday night in Los Angeles, announced that the guests will not be required to wear a mask while sitting in the hall.

At a press conference held by the producers of the ceremony, more details were revealed about the unusual event that will take place this year due to the corona restrictions. The number of attendees at the ceremony was limited to only 170 people, most of them nominees for the award and their companions, as well as actors who were invited to submit the awards. 

Anyone who arrives at the Union Station station in downtown Los Angeles will be required to undergo a heat test, following on from three corona tests he will have to undergo this week. 

The entrance of the guests will be done gradually, according to a precise schedule that will be given to each one individually, to prevent gatherings.

The organizers also announced that the many media outlets that cover the ceremony each year will have to make do this time with a virtual approach via an online press room. 

Only a small number of journalistic teams will be allowed to physically reach the red carpet this year, including a team from ABC News (the television network that broadcasts the ceremony this year), a team from the entertainment channel E! And international representatives from only seven countries.
