"The best policy is that which is not subject to the interests of finance" but "capable of placing the dignity of every human being at the center" and "ensuring work for all ". "A policy that, far from populisms or sovereignties, knows how to find solutions to what attempts against fundamental human rights and that aims at eliminating all forms of social exclusion: starvation, pandemics, not to mention the ignoble trafficking in human beings", underlined the archbishop of Perugia-Città della Pieve.
