The supermarket chain Edeka is recalling sausages due to the risk of injury.
You should keep your hands off this sausage because of the metal splinters it may contain.
Munich - The supermarket chain Edeka is calling back sausages in several federal states in northern Germany.
According to
Nordcenter
, the
reason for this is
that the meat factory in the markets in the north may contain
foreign metal objects
in individual sausages.
The group does not specify how large and in what quantity these foreign bodies can be.
The bratwursts were mainly sold in the Edeka * branches in the federal states of Schleswig-Holstein, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Hamburg and in the north of Lower Saxony and parts of Brandenburg.
Customers who have purchased the product are advised not to consume it.
Instead, all those sausages - even without presenting the receipt - can be returned in the respective branches, as the company announced.
The purchase price will be fully refunded.
