(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 23 - There could be 14 regions and 2 autonomous provinces to go into the yellow zone as foreseen by the reopening decree starting from 26 April. No region should remain red and five would be orange. The national coronavirus contagion index in Italy drops again and reaches 0.81 compared to 0.85 last week.
This is what emerges, according to what is learned, from the latest weekly monitoring of the Ministry of Health-Isss on the progress of the epidemic for the period 12-18 April.
This week there is still a very slight decrease in the incidence of Covid-19 cases, equal to 157.4 per 100,000 inhabitants (for the week 12/04 / 2021-18 / 04/2021) against 160.5 per 100,000 inhabitants the previous week ( 05/04 / 2021-11 / 04/2021).
The exact figure on Thursday - which is the one taken as a reference for the decisions - would be 159. Overall, the incidence remains high and far from levels (50 per 100,000) which would allow the complete restoration of the tracking of the cases. (HANDLE).
