(ANSA) - RIO DE JANEIRO, APRIL 23 - A decree by the mayor of Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo Paes, published today in the local GazzettaUfficiale has eased some restrictions decided to try to curb the coronavirus pandemic. The new measures also include the reopening to the public of the city beaches on weekdays.
It is still forbidden to park on the street and in public places from 11pm to 5am. Parties and events in general remain suspended.
The new rules will come into force in the first minute of this Saturday and will continue until May 3: in practice, therefore, access to the beaches will be free only from next Monday. (HANDLE).
