The future of Bordeaux, one of the reference clubs of French football, which has won the national title six times in history (the last in 2009), is damned complicated. According to what L'Equipe writes today, with an open page entitled 'The American nightmare', the 'Girondins' are now one step away from bankruptcy, due to the disengagement by King Street, the star shareholder and strips.
The club, therefore, has been placed under the protection of the court and is desperate for a buyer.
Currently, in the Ligue 1 standings, Bordeaux occupies the 16th and fifth from last place, with 36 points, ahead of Lorient, Nimes, Nantes and Dijon.
