Mediaset, Court cancels shareholders' meeting resolutions without Simon

(ANSA) - MILAN, APRIL 23 - The Civil Court of Milan, consent of first instance of April 22, 2021, accepting the requests of Simon Fiduciaria, canceled a resolution of the Mediaset assembly of June 2018. According to the Court, the article of the Gasparri Law , on the basis of which the Trust (to which Vivendi had to transfer part of its package of shares) was not admitted to participate in the 2018 shareholders' meeting, must be disapplied with retroactive effect.

   This non-application therefore overwhelms all the acts carried out in the period of its validity, including the exclusion from the vote of Simon Fiduciaria. (HANDLE).
