"Hello everyone, my name is Thomas, I am happy to be your guide aboard the Crew Dragon". Installed in orbit around the Earth after two hours of flight, the astronaut Thomas Pesquet makes the presentations of his space capsule. With his head in the stars and before the eyes of the world, Elon Musk's Space X rocket transported him and three other astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS). As expected, after careful preparation, the craft took off at 11:49 am (French time), from the NASA Kennedy Space Center in Florida (United States).
Four hours before their flight, the four astronauts put on their suits and said goodbye to their families, still without contact, before driving to their rocket.
Once installed in the take-off position, they were able to improvise a game of rock-paper-scissors, thus triggering a few smiles before the gangway was removed and the engines ignited before the countdown.
At 5:49 am (11:49 am French time), it was on.
The Falcon 9 launcher launched their spaceship safely into space, leaving behind a beautiful trail of flame across the Florida sky.

The crew separated from the second stage of the rocket at 27,000 km / h to stabilize in orbit. Up there, a whole new gravity is offered to them and with it appears a small plush penguin serving as an indicator. In just two hours, the astronauts begin their second tour of the Earth and can now admire the view through the porthole. Nestled 200 km above South Africa.
