In the midst of the tension between the Nation and the City over the
face-to-face classes
, a large caravan of cars traveled this Saturday at noon on 9 de Julio Avenue, in the vicinity of the Obelisk, demanding the return of the children to classrooms.

" read one of the posters on the window of one of the vehicles.
The
Organized Parents
collective
broadcast a series of videos in which horns and cacerolazos are heard.
Several people were also seen waving Argentine flags and balloons with the national colors.
"Caravan for the presence", "Open the schools" and "The closed school hurts. The Province and the City for the presence", were the requests that were repeated on the networks during this Saturday.

The Frente de Todos imposed its majority in the bicameral Legislative Procedure commission and ratified this Friday the decree of President Alberto Fernández that prohibited face-to-face classes in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires.
The opposition rejected it considering that it is
invalid
because "it violates the powers of Parliament and the autonomy of the City."
The DNU in question - of April 16 - canceled the presence in the schools of the City and the Conurbano;
established that commercial premises must close at 7:00 p.m. and restricted circulation between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
The City
did not abide by the school closings
, the fight was prosecuted and the Supreme Court is now expected to pass.
Meanwhile, the ruling party in Congress hastened the necessary steps to take the decree to the Senate in the next session.
To be endorsed, it is enough with the vote of one of both chambers, while the repeal of a decree has to be voted by both.

This Thursday, entities representing private schools met with the Minister of Education Nicolás Trotta at the Pizzurno Palace.
"We agree on the need for a
responsible presence
", expressed associations of the sector, in a joint statement.
For his part, President Alberto Fernández once again defended the suspension of face-to-face classes and again pointed to the City as the epicenter of the pandemic: "It all started there."
"We looked back and it all started in the City, it spread to the AMBA and from there it began to radiate to the rest of the country," Fernández emphasized this Friday when leading a meeting of the Federal Cabinet in Rosario, Santa Fe, as part of the policy of Alternate Capitals.

Kicillof suspended more classes
The governor of the province of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, ordered the suspension of classes in four districts of the interior of the province.
The measure will be valid for fourteen days and will take effect from Monday, April 26.
The Buenos Aires decree, published this Thursday in the Official Gazette, establishes "as an exceptional, temporary and focused measure, the suspension of face-to-face classes and face-to-face non-school educational activities at all levels and in all its modalities in the municipalities" of
Bolívar , Castelli, General Villegas and Zárate
.
On Monday, Kicillof had referred in harsh terms to the decision of the Buenos Aires Executive to keep the schools open, despite the DNU of the national government.
He considered it
"disgusting"
that Justice is used "to harm those who have to be cared for" and assured that, on the other hand, he prefers "to be unfriendly" rather than to be "absolutely irresponsible and to engage in politics with life and death." .
