A 28-year-old woman was arrested in France after her own daughter was kidnapped.
Investigations are underway against the woman who is now in custody.
The station »Franceinfo« and other French media reported unanimously, citing the public prosecutor's office in Nancy in eastern France.
The suspect was therefore extradited to France.
Eight-year-old Mia was kidnapped by three men in the Vosges about a week and a half ago in a village where she lived with her grandmother.
Last weekend, Mia was found unscathed with her mother in Sainte-Croix, Switzerland, in the canton of Vaud.
According to media reports, the 28-year-old had lost custody and was no longer allowed to see her child alone.
"Franceinfo" now reports that they are being investigated for the kidnapping of a minor organized as a gang.
Another suspect was extradited from Switzerland, reports the AFP news agency.
He is said to have helped the woman escape.
Five suspects had already been arrested after the kidnapping.
